The numbers of Capercaillie remain low, i knew of another one that got killed by dogs, hopefully i will get out next week and get some much better images, but the weather here has been horrible and no light in short days.
I never go near the Caper at weekends, to many people out and about and i don't want to draw any attention to him, thankfully he is much harder to find and off the beaten track.

I would and everyone i know says "caper" never heard cap or cape except for maybe baseball or batman.
For me its tattie, but in the central belt it will be tottie, ....... one of the reasons i stay in the Highlands, they speak funny down there.
