Quite pleased with my new 55-300mm lens, though I could really feel the difference in weight from the 55-200 after a while. Im looking forward to trying it out on the Wyedean stages on Feb the 11th

Very nice - and I'm loving the sharp cars and speed blurred backdrop as well

timing on #2 is superb - it's strange to see that little car so far off the deck!

So, apart from the weight - was the extra reach useful on the new glass?

The extra reach was very useful as the speccy area was so far back in a couple places. Im looking forward to using it at Thruxton for the BTCC as at the last chicane ive always needed a bit more to catch them bouncing over the kerbs!

There isnt a much more entertaining car than a mk2 Escort! This one is only a 1.6 but he still drives it looking out of the side window most of the time
