Critique Welcomed Church In Sunshine

I was trying out DarkTable to see if I could get it to work for me, but ended up back in Lightroom with this. It's a photo I took back in the summer which I quite liked, but never did much as far as processing goes.

I've tried not to lose the sky and clouds but lost a bit of them at the bottom where they meet the hedgerow sadly...

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments :)

Have you tried SilverFX? This can be launched from within LR and PS (and Aperture) and gives you control points that would probably enable you to retain the detail in the sky adjacent to the hedgerow.

Yes Pete, I've trialled it previously and I love the effects you can get with SilverFX. When I finally get round to having $140 bucks free for this kind of thing, it will be one of the first things I buy! The processing it's capable of is just lovely in my opinion - until then, I struggle gamely on :D

That tree shadow is so cool
