Corinth Canal

While in Greece for the WRC we stopped off to take a look at the Corinth Canal, which gorges its way through the rock on the outskirts of Loutraki. Apparently there was a way of getting a closer look, but im not sure what kind of shots I could of gotten, bouncing up and down on a bungy rope!

Now that's an impressive looking structure Alastair - disappointed we didn't get to see bungee-cam! ;)

Been over this quite a few times but always at high speed (most Greek drivers only use two speeds!) but never had the opportunity to take a shot. There are a couple of places where you can get shots of the entrance / exit I believe. Indeed one of them is near the site where they used to transport ships overland in ancient times. However, it is being destroyed by the modern shipping traffic despite apparent works to save it.
