No. Sigma Photo Pro takes the X3F files (Sigma's own raw type), which you can edit and export as tiff files, or immediately export as tiff files for use in Photoshop or elsewhere. These shots are straight to tiff, then in Photoshop Elements I immediately saved them as jpgs, without any editing at all.
