Dan Down Project 366

Okay, I'm going to give this project a go!!

I think the idea of it is SOOC, so thats what I'm going with....
Had a meal at the The Lenchford today and took this random shot. A bit of an abstract start to it all. but never the less, here's my start for 2012!

Wow, what a wonderful start. Fabulous composition and great juxtaposition of the lines, circle and squares. And no PP. Impressive stuff Dan.

Thanks Pete, I was gagging to give it a square crop to get rid of the christmas deco and distraction from the bottom, but as it's a 'No PP' project and can't do anything with it.....
However, I do like the lines if I must say so myself. I was half way through my meal and I kept looking up from my seat and admiring it that much I gave myself a blind spot in my eye temporarily, so I just got my cam out and snapped it.

I've just done another thread with the PP edit. I think thats better but I'm trying to stick to the SOOC game.

I know what you mean to be fair Daz,
I've only ever posted about 3 non PP'd pictures on here since I've been on this forum.
I suppose we could post them without PP on our 366 project and then start a seperate thread with a PP'd version.
What do you think? Activity will be BOOMING on here then.

As there's an increase of spinners on here I thought I'd join in on this... wire.. wool thingy bob and see what the fuss is all about.

another SOOC shot. I'd normally play with a few levels on these spins as sometimes the balance isn't quite right.
Sometimes I try and achieve some of the glow reflecting off objects around me, by doing so I open the aperture by a few stops, but then consequentially, I 'burn' out the spin ring...... but on this occasion.... I have nothing around so I'm happy with the SOOC on this one....... although the framing could be better. lol
