It's a shame the promoters have been pressurised into saying, "contains images of nudity", presumably in case some people are offended. They'll be putting fig leaves on Greek and Roman statues again before long. The New Puritans are on the march...
I think I'll have to try to get down to London at some point for this. I always knew who his was, not hard coming from East London and going to school in Canning Town, but never really took an interest in his work until I bought a book last year. Amazing to think that most of the portrait and modelling photography you see today has its roots firmly in David Bailey's work.
