The problem with going wider would be that wider lenses tend to make things like buildings 'lie down' and appear flatter - not sure if that would get you such a good comp?

One day, I took a trip to this forum, today and I find this which is everything everyone has said. And it's not even taken with a Merrill. On my next trip to Edinburg I shall do my research through Robs photography and try to see those places through my lens. They may appear mostly in colours though since I am poor when it comes to black and white.

Thanks and absolutely. Maybe you should combine music and photography in some form including Edinburg. Just a thought, could be a business proposition. You could do it.
