When I was younger I used to spend hours with it up
And course I had no trouble getting it, up almost instantly
But today was the first time I have tried in a very long time to get it up
I did manage to get it up albeit briefly, a couple or so times today
but mostly it ended in failure
However I did manage to scare a couple of birds with it though ...........
It was really wet and windy today, the weather may have had a
bearing on my success, who knows?
I never remember the weather having an adverse effect in my younger days.
Also they seemed a lot stronger back then,
But of course the reality is never really the same as "childhood memories" is it?.....................
So anyway, I was on pit detterent duties today,
being wet and windy, flying the female Lanner was out of the question.
The only other option was to try the Guy's (whom I was covering for) Kite......
The rest, as they say is history.
