Double Self Portrait/Popping a flash in the dark

I took these shots in my bathroom, as there are no windows to allow any light in. The camera was set for a 15 second exposure at f8.
Having light switch & camera within reach, I turned off the light, opened the shutter, popped the flash manually at arms length in front, then turned around & popped the flash again.
It took a few attempts to get it right!

Last one is a bit disturbing

Disturbing but probably my favourite. Excellent Idea Richard and superbly executed. Nice to see it all done in-camera as well.

These are great Richard.

I often find myself conducting these sort of experiments, great fun, but you need to be careful.........or the men in the white coats might put you in the same room as DD and me

Brilliant! Love them... The last one especially tickles me ...
In fact it looks like some tickling is going on else where ... There's is almost a homoerotic element to it ... Or maybe that should Narcoerotic? (is that a word?... It needs to be now)
