More experimentation with filters and a tripod. Shot on a Nikon D2H with a ND x 4 filter, Orange filter and C-PL. I'm keen to see the interesting tonal and colour shifts that happen when you adjust the white balance in post.

Eerie was one adjective that hit my mind, I have thoughts of a static world, frozen vegetation in a time with no atmosphere, yet you could wander through the trees to the pod. If you've ever come across the Stephen King story/film 'The Langoliers', a similar world is envisioned there.

I haven’t, though do enjoy reading sci-fi, more the 1950s/60s era, which this image brings to mind.

There used to be a show I watched as a kid, called 'Land of the Lost', 70's, which I had running in my head as well viewing this. I'm currently starting 'Dune' literary wise- may inspire me for shots!
