Critique Welcomed Edinburgh Street Shots

Oh, I am a bit shy, feel uncomfortable. Feel I'm stealing something. But I enjoy looking at street photography, and I'll try again on the odd occasion. Glad you like them.

They're great, Rob.

It's between #1 & #3 for me!

I think feeling uncomfortable at the start just shows that you are sensitive & respectful, that's not a bad thing! It's not stealing mate, it's sharing little moments & parts of the world through your eyes!

I agree, i like them all, but not sure about no.4 i to like street photography and am a bit shy, but its lots of fun and addictive.

I quite like the suitcase porter and the cyclist foaming at the mouth but the gem here for me is the figure on the steps. The framing is superb and the contrast etc are just right. I like that he is the only figure and that the curves on the tops of the 'buttresses' reflect the shape of his back.

And as a bonus there is the out-of-focus girl. A shame she is a bit too central but I reckon it would be worth playing with a bit more.

First 3 are interesting shots!

Last 2 would have been deleted in camera LOL (Sorry)

Ha. Dave, they almost were. But there is something about the blurred girl that I like, and what did that cyclist have in his mouth?! Shame the shot is out of focus, but I thought it weird enough to keep. Mind you, it's hard for cyclists not to look out of focus on Edinburgh's cobbled roads...

Thanks, Pete. I like that steps shot too. I took a while setting it up before clicking.
