Lovely start to spring on the coast today:

What's very appealing is the gentle line of surf as it snakes it's way up through the image until it slowly disappears. Pete mentioned the effect on the sand but it is also mirrored, to some extent, in the sky. Gold and Blue, how compatible they look here. Chris, excuse my ignorance but what is that shape in the foreground; it appears to have created a nest for itself in the sand.

Fantastic image Chris. Not a bad place to be in the world going by this image.
Thanks Julian - it has it's upsides! :)

Lovely colours there Chris and the effect of the WA on the sand is nice.
Thanks Pete - I was excited when I say the effect the WA had pulling the perspective in the sky - could't get enough of it yesterday - The sand has tiny specks of black and gold (as in the metal) in it - very cool

Thanks Tom - the foreground object is a really well weathered rock, park of a group that fell into the sea from a cliff a few years back

definitely the first day of spring here, it was nearly 50 degrees and not a snow pile in sight for the first time since christmas.

great photo, love the crazy rock with the crazy hair in the foreground and clouds mirroring it in the sky. beautiful tones and colors.
