First Film through Trip

First shot is cropped slightly and straightened.

The second shows a black line down the right-hand side, which appears in six or so of the images. Problem with the film advance button?

Green. Wish I'd done more reds, as in the first shot, but here be green...

So, what do you think?

I think the colors are very nice. Especially in the first one, Rob. I also like the muted bluish facia on the clubhouse.

What film?

(That black line may be a scanning issue.)

Oops. Meant to mention the film. Fujifilm C200 - given away free from Jessops last year. It's the only colour film I had lying around, and is not my favourite, but the results are pretty good.

Processing was just a 1-hour service at Boots, and they did the scanning as well. With good film, properly developed and scanned by Wedevelopfilms, I'm sure the quality would be better.

I also did twenty-five shots from a b&w film, which I'll be sending off to get processed. And a couple of those were duplicated by shooting immediately afterwards with the Zeiss Nettar. Looking forward to comparing them.

Cheers, Pete. Looking forward to putting some good film through it. You know, I'm half a mind to sell my digital cameras. Film is REAL photography!

I'm with Brian on the black line being a potential scanning mis-alignment.

Come on, even as a Scotsman you'd have to concede that this was ten quid well spent :D

A nice set, and I really dig the first one, Rob.
I put the 1st frame through Photoshop to see how straight it was,
and I get this message which says "Rob MacKillop levels plugin missing" ;)
