Focus on Imaging 2012 - RPF Meet?

errrrrrrrrrrrrrr "eye candy" ...?? have you been perving over them models DD.........?? :p

Those lovely helpfully ladies were great!!!
I did not perve over them! I have NO evidence of them on my Oly at all!!

Anyway Daz, as a man who's getting well into street photog, I'd love for you to walk away from there tomorrow and tell me you did
nt snap any of the friendly ladies that roam the NEC!

I haven't done a show like ths for a while and boy was I glad to sit down on the train...
Lots of things I could have spent money on, but I was a good boy.....which means I deserve a reward later, when I've had a chance to think...

It was good to meet people, perhaps we should do a photo shoot when the weather's warmer and give ourselves more time to take photos/socialise/drink (delete any that don't apply) :)

I agree!
I actually felt a little rude today not spending more time chatting etc ... Just felt a little overwhelmed and wanted to take in as much as I could in the time we had!

Sounds like a good deal on the lens Tom. Don't know Konig but for £40 you can't go too wrong I don't think. I did once buy a SH enormous Gitzo for £50! I can just about lift it on my own and the guy in MXV described it as looking like it had been hit by a truck (with the follow-on that he'd hate to see the state of the truck!! ;)). Lives in the back of the car these days (and probably adds 10% to the fuel consumption) but it was certainly a bargain and will probably outlast me. Looking forward to the fruits of your trip Tom. No excuse for there not being enough light now you know: fast lens and a tripod to boot!! :)

Well i didnt get to Focus today, totally gutted :( I Got a call at 4am this morning from a old friend who lives near Blackpool who needed some help so had to shoot up there and have been there most of day, thankfully it was nothing serious, but serious enough for me to miss focus.
