Friends, What Is Wrong With Me?

OK, I don't want a long list!

Many of you are aware that I ordered a Konica Hexar from a guy in Japan, and he sent it to someone else, and also sent someone else's camera to me...

Now Ffordes have sent my purchase of a Mamiya adapter ring (for my RB67) to someone else, and have sent me a Nikon lens hood which was due to someone else.

What's wrong with people? Or is it me?

Too may selfless! Those native Americans were right it seems and that with every selfie you have have extracted a bit of the real Rob MacKillop. Now you have become but a vague presence in the world and parcels, messages etc are just going adrift. You are merging with that growing group of the selfie non-people (a bit like zombies but not very scary), a hive mind without the mind, a group for whom me, me, me is the siren call. You might be able to reverse it by taking more shots of other people but there's no guarantee that will work I'm afraid Jim.

If it makes you feel any better, I phoned mwclassic the other day to order an old canon FP I found on their website. Gave him my card details, haggled a bit, order processed as far as I was concerned ... Nope, week later, no camera! Rung them, no record of the order! Little birthday present for my self too... It was only £25, so not a big splash out ... but I suppose that's why it didn't get done ...
