Gallery Tab

Ive moved the gallery tab ...
Its now in the menu within the forum tab ...
Ive noticed that a lot of people have posted images there and not within the forum its self ...
I thought this might remedy the situation a bit ...

Peoples thoughts?

Good Idea Mr Gill............I've used it but rarely go there............so this might help me visit more often........

It's more about seeing people use it in the right context ...
It's for storing images to be posted in forums rather than for general viewing ...
I might change the name of it
Maybe I should expand on it somehow instead ...
I use photobucket to store images ...
And I tend to prefer people do the same at the mo because of the bandwidth usage on our servers
Maybe I need to think a bit more about it and just encourage people to store thier image here?
There is no reason why people shouldn't I suppose ... Other then the impact on my hosting ... But I'm not so fussed about that any more I don't think...
More thought required I feel...
What do we think??

Following your advise......................I too use the bucket.............can be a bit lengthy IMO having to upload then do the C&P bit but then i have lazy tendencies.............:)

There will always be a copy and paste, just this way it would be an internal one ...
I'm not sure ...
As I say, I need to think a bit more ... Maybe a project/expansion for the new year!

The fact that it's for forum shots could be better signposted but all but 2 of the images I posted tonight are smaller copys. I tend to store all mine on Flickr (never looked at photobucket) as I have a free pro account anyway. if you can link codes over from photobucket or Flicker like
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/davem44/6270070728/" title="bcb (126 of 160).jpg by davem44(100,000+views thank you), on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6233/6270070728_b8e938bcb0.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="bcb (126 of 160).jpg"></a> which is an HTML thread do you need the gallery at all

British Telecom lol dont think they provide internet your side of the water lol. What youu need to look for is an isp which provides the enhanced yahoo service I know here you can get it from BT for less than the cost of a yearly pro account on flickr

I didn't know BT gave you a free flickr pro account! I get my broadband through BT Infinity should I get one with that?

Glen one thing is you get it with sub account emails as well so you dont have to use the main email bt gave you if you prefer you can use a sub account email as well (Sorry Hamish we are going a little off track here but if it helps other members!)

I tried Dave but it hasn't upgraded me to a Pro account. It just reminds me I'm near my 200 shot limit when I log in:(.
