I've looked into getting some sort of tripod/stability unit for the iPhone for while now.
I've seen on eBay that they have these stick on pads that go on the back of the iPhone and that's where the screw thread attachment goes for a universal thread. Just not keen on sticking near permanent pads on my phone.

In effect, it's just a small 'tripod' in a way. Useful it may be for a compact cam with super macro or a Timelapse for an iPhone :)
But other than that....... can't think of anything else.

It's appeal is most certainly odd, and the untrained eye would have to have a second glance to work out what it is.
Practicaly it's better, covers more angles, and looks alot stable that these cheap stick on pads.
When temporarily not in use, it folds down to a 'cage' to protect it....

Now, not many other tripods can do that.
Looks I'd give it 5/10, but practicality, it'd have to be top marks surely?

That mobislider looks nifty that does Tom.... Its a pretty penny too.
I've seen those glifs for next to nothing on eBay, they'd be good for a little tripod.
