Gilded Leaf

Sumptuous is the word that springs to mind Rob, sumptuous! Love it. :)

It's funny how we see things isn't it and certainly there are quite often things that appear here that stimulate the imagination. For example, I see that picture of the graveyard everyday that I'm in the office in Germany, but seeing your shots prompted me to share it and look at anew (as well as nudging me to print some more of them).

Just an idea for the above (and merely my obsession with leading diagonals etc), how about lining the stalk of the leaf up with the lower RH corner? What do you think?

Are you anally retentive, Pete? ;) Straight horizons (oh, no, that's a Hamish thing) and leading diagonals. Whatever happened to rock and roll? You guys are working for The Man now!

But maybe you are right

Why do you think I needed an Arca Cube?!! ;)

Yes, open one of the images in Elements and look at image size (and resolution). Then create a new file with a white background that is 3 times the size plus a bit for gaps between the pictures - make sure the resolution is the same. Then open the other two files and select all from each and copy and paste them into the new file. They will create new layers each and you can drag the individual images around until they are in the right place. Then flatten the image. There are other ways but this is a fairly simple one that will keep everything the same size etc.

Pete, I did as you said and copied the images into the new blank background (at the same resolution) - but the three images sit on top of each other and I can't move them around. Something locked?

Did you use the move tool (the arrow that I assume is at the top of the palette in Elements) to try to move the copy in the layer? Don't forget you have to click on each layer in turn to move the image element about. Once you are happy you can either save as a PSD / TIFF or flatten the image for export etc as a JPEG.
