Glowing Glass

A box of cheap goodies arrived from Amazon a few days ago and tonight I had the chance to play with some of the contents. We're a bit limited with usable space, so these were crammed together on the dining room window sill

Glow sticks! You bend them, shake them and the instructions say to not cut the end off

It washes off the carpet and the furniture easily enough, even though I put down lots of newspaper...

Instructions are so overrated.

I remember many years ago we got a crate with some rather esoteric vapor deposition equipment in it. Stenciled on the side was "Try it our way first - please read the instructions"

The trouble is that it isn't cold out @Keith Hollister. As I sit here now there is a gale blowing outside with winds of up to 80mph later. Rain is threatening to smash the windows and I'm wondering if I should go out and check the llamas again. They are in a lovely dry field shelter full of clean straw, but if they have settled down for the night, I'm worried I may spook them by checking too much
