Half Moon on Velvia

Inspired by Chris who has been shooting an awful lot of Velvia lately, I went and got some Velvia before it was all gone.

I shot these images of an abandoned cannery and a rust colored tank on Terminal Island California a couple of weeks ago. I used my Yashica Electro 35 GSN and of course Fuji Velvia film. (100 asa.)

These images are right off the scanner. No pp.

When I shot film I really like the look I got with Velvia. Nice photos Brian.

Nice shots, Brian. It's interesting & educational for us new to photography to see the differences in the films! I can understand the appeal of Velvia from these shots!

Thanks a lot, Alfie. I appreciate what you say because the main reason I did this was just to show anybody who hadn't seen it before what the colors in chrome films can look like. Thank again.

Goreous Brian. Especially the last one.
Thanks very much, Pete. That the one that struck me most, and I was inclined initially to post just that one. But then, I wondered if it needed more context, and that's why I posted the others. Anyway, thanks again, Pete. (You've affirmed my initial hunch.)
