hi all

last night me and Dan catterholeymoley poppedd over to hamish's house to learn the processess involved in film developing. Although I didn't get hands on I found it fascinating and it really opened my eyes to what some of you lot still do. I loved the make or break risk to it all and the excitement and anticipation.

I took a few snaps of the evening, I didn't take any of the actual process because..... well as you all know photos of Dan and Hamish taking turns sticking their hands in a bag are for a different site altogether!!!!!!! but yeah.... not much to shoot as its all covered

hamish had told us that the most important thing when developing film is to go and have a pint in town whilst the film dry and to pass macdonalds so he can get some dinner....

we got back to hams house took this whilst they where rolling up dans film

Being a digital only guy myself, it's great to see what goes on in the dark room .

I love in #3, #4, and #5 where the details of film contents become clearly visible when placed in front of a light source.

Hammers got me to smell some of this old dev fluid he had for who knows how long.... Never felt right since then to be fair lol

Bag, it wasn't that old... It's only really old when it takes a layer of skin of your face
Seriously though, don't smell old dev chems it's really dangerous!

What a great series Tom. Love it. The first shot is super and I really like No 3. The pub floor is a super shot also. Looking forward to seeing the results from the films too.
