Took a trip down to Old Town San Diego on Sunday with some visitors - and spotted this rather nice collection of custom handmade Mariachi guitars in a Mexican-style street market.

DOF is perfect!
thats something i need to get better at ... setting the aperture for the perfect dof like you have done for the purple guitar

It's a good justification for those faster lenses - you can dial up a narrow DOF when you need it

When that fast lens is also a zoom - you can control the DOF with the zoom as well - lots of options
