I had seen Morris dancers , this was my first encounter with clog dancers. One thing can be said, they were a happy bunch of folk.

I second the use of DOF comment. That is the problem with public events, there are too many people wondering about in your shot and you have to get rid of them somehow. Apparently running around with a replica gun shooting "Everybody get out of the way" is seen as socially unacceptable. So we have to stick with using shallow DOF for the moment.
