Headstand

At Pier Plaza last Saturday I saw this girl with a lovely shade of pink hair watching the goings-on and I thought, that might look nice on a color photo! I didn't notice the headstand until I got the film processed.

Vivitar PN2011 with flipped lens and expired Vons 400 ASA film. (Vons is a grocery store chain here in California. Based on the design along the edge of the negs I see the film is actually Fuji.)

It does have that remote viewing look to it doesn't it - a bit of alien reconnaissance before the invasion I reckon!!

I like the muted tones here and the slightly vague flags. The head-stander brings a certain video by Peter Gabriel to mind. Sledgehammer and the dancing chicken (3':15")!!

Thanks Pete. I'd forgotten about that video. (I love that album, though. They called it "So" here in the States. Don't know about in UK or the rest of the world.)

I'm so humble that the first explanation was a lie. (Didn't want anyone to feel upstaged by my superhuman perseverence.) The fact is Paul that I waited for hours to get that shot.
