As you can see here, the petrol station (on the right by the cross-roads), is right under the final approach to the main runway at San Diego!

It's a little unnerving to say the least!

It was showing this runway on TV the othernight, some program showing the worlds most awkward runways for pilots when landing, they were showing the routine the pilot has to do when he approaches that garage looked scary on there!! This shot really shows how close and low these planes are nice one, fab shot
