Just seen an Email from NIK/Google hit my inbox
It says:
Dear Chris,
Thanks for being a long-time Nik customer. As a registered owner of one or more of our software products, we are pleased to announce that you are now eligible for a free copy of the new Nik Collection by Google, which includes all six of our award-winning plug-ins for Photoshop, Lightroom, or Aperture.
To be sure you have the latest version of the Nik plug-ins, click the link below to download the Nik Collection. Your download will begin automatically.
So looks like I have been given the option to download for FREE all NIK/Google filters, even though I don't currently own them all
Anyone else seen this?
The tag line on the Email is interesting
You have received this mandatory email service announcement to update you about important changes to your Nik Software product(s).
So I'm guessing this is a stick and carrot approach to get people onto the Google versions of the software

Ah - a quick Google and I found this http://connect.dpreview.com/post/4452357456/google-nik-software-plugins
So they are doing the whole bundle for a low price now - nice!
And doing free upgrades and rolling out refunds if you spent a bunch recently on multiple products!
