This reminds me of childhood dreams, Brothers Grimm stories, etc - but maybe I had too much garlic tonight! Very beautiful, Nihat!

Just superb - how long did it take to set-up all the doors, and get a shot with no people?

Thank you very much, Chris. :) I was familiar with the subject due to my prior visits. That day, I think I was lucky. Do not remember waiting for more than a couple of passes of people. My wife and my son was waiting in the car, parked out in front of the fort, enjoying the Golden Gate Bridge. I'd say 20 minutes roundtrip to the car. However, a lot of time involved developing, test prints, dry-downs, 16"x20" final FB prints, air-drying, toning, framing.

I've only seen the building from the park by the bridge - must visit it next time I'm in SF - very cool

A lot of history, and a wonderful bottom up view of GGB on its rooftop. Great viewing for ships entering and leaving the bay, though it could be foggy, windy. :)

Thank you very much, Paul. :) Very seldom I was able to do the leaving my loved ones in the car to photograph. This is a place we had been before, and I had photographed my child son as he ran in this very corridor who appeared like a spirit due to the slow speed of film.

Perfect setup with great symmetry. Wonderful work!
