Invitation To An Exhibition

Please visit my online exhibition of a series of images I took of my music students. These are the 'best of' shots, all in one set on 500px.

I've opted for a unified post production in an attempt to promote the feeling of a meeting of like-minded people, even though few of them have met one another. They have more in common than they might otherwise have imagined.

Rob, this a very nice set! I do not remember seeing Ipek and Laurent before. Ipek (meaning Silk in English) is a Turkish female name. Does that apply in this case? Anyway, congratulations! You are bringing people together, teaching them guitar and photographing them in your own way. What a wonderful trio.

Thanks, Nihat. Yes, Ipek is Turkish. Sorry you can't see much of her in that photo. Try this one (which is not a good shot):

I think she said she is from Ishmir. She went home a couple of weeks ago, and brought me back some delicious Turkish Delight. She is married to Laurent, a Frenchman, and they have their lesson together at 8am on Friday mornings before going to work.

Nice idea Rob, really good to see the images together as they all work well together. It is nice you you group a larger set of images together, seems to help give greater meaning and validity to them.

I can imagine the set framed in a group on a wall, or down a hallway
