iPhoneography snaps thread

brilliant, the bottom one almost looks like water lapping at the mountains

It seems sometimes like all I ever take with my iPhone are sunset and sunrise pics, for some reason. I guess that's what I generally have with me when I see a good one.

Here's a shot of Copenhagen over the central canal, taken while pulling my luggage behind me on an early morning headed to the airport. No PP.

Wow! - Love the cotton ball clouds - and the bit of engine and wing - lovely comp :)

Color is very saturated - you using the 'enhance' feature in the phone for that?

No PP on the Copenhagen shot!!!!

Outstanding - what a sky

Just goes to show - it's what ever camera you have with you at that moment eh :D

No, didn't use any apps for this one. Just shot using the camera and standard software. But I exposed for the sky instead of the buildings. I think that's what caused the silhouettes and the vibrant colors. I've noticed that my iphone tends to exaggerate colors a bit on the vibrant side, and I'm not sure why. I never need to enhance them and if anything, I'd look to tone it down a bit if I bothered to do any PP (which I rarely do on iphone shots). That said, the colors were crazy vibrant that day, due to some apparent volcanic activity in iceland and ash in the sky.

For the shot with the cottonball clouds, the sun was low in the horizon and there was a bit of a sunset forming behind me (you can see some pinkishness behind the wing) That's what made the blue so deep and vibrant, I think.

Copenhagen shot!!! Omg!!! That is superb! What have they put in these phone now days?? Lol

Taken last night in San Diego.

Booked the tickets for SWMBO, who's a big Jason Mraz fan - but found myself very impressed with the guy - he's really rather good! :)

brilliant shot Chris, I'm quite partial to 'Lucky' by him .... i'm a romantic old sod really

Mmmmm Dan, I can feel my teeth rotting just looking at it! :D

The smell of the shop inside is great. Mmmhh mmmhhhhh. Lol

Nice shot...

Its been years since I've been to Bewdley, which is a bit bad considering I was born and brought up near there....
There used to be a little general store on the corner that I remember as a kid; from what I remeber I don't think it had changed since Victorian times...

Walking on the beach this evening at sunset - lovely sky as another low pressure heads our way from the North
