Interesting update to the iPhone, from a photography point of view iOS6 includes a panorama mode :)
 
Promising start to the day - worth going to Starbucks early for, in fact! ;)

It's very easy to use, it's a matter of dragging the phone across and it adds to the shot as it's going. I used to have an app for panoramas that involved rendering and stitching etc but this is so easy, quick edit on the phone and voila you have a picture :) i'll post another couple that I have

Here's my first attempt at a panorama with the iPhone 5. Taken from my yard looking west to the mountains yesterday morning as the sun rose under a layer of clouds in the east.

an acquaintance was commissioned by The Economist to produce a feature shot entirely by iPhone. this is a move I applaud.
