Critique Welcomed Jamming

On Wednesday evening I had the pleasure of spending sometime with the Crazy 88's at 'The Jam House' in Birmingham in the hope I could get some decent stuff for their web site...

Typical Night Club, Very Dark, dispersed with flashing Red and Green light and very little else....other than it being Damned loud too.......

Given the amount of a available light and limiting myself to not using flash except for some shots, (I hate flash in these circumstances as I think it loses much of the atmosphere....) and that the majority of available light was red spot I think the Mono pp works pretty well...To be honest was surprised to get anything at all......given the High ISO and f1.8

Cheers Pete, hoping I have, still working on them and will post after the band have viewed and approved, but wanted to get a bit of feedback :)

Its always testing shooting bands with stage lighting. I think you've done a good job here.
I went to kerrang radio station a few weeks ago in Birmingham for a VIP gig with about 50 people, and they had blue and red spot lights on Corey Taylor (stone sour) and it is HORRIBLE to shoot in, especially in colour. I ended up turning them to B&W.
Nice one KK

Cheers DD reckon as far as shoots go Red light in a dark night club must be about the most testing......
