My elder daughter's friend since they were toddlers.

Polaroid Spectra camera and Impossible "Silver Shade" film.

I had mentioned in a response to Rob in another post how beautiful the Impossible B&W emulsions can be and mentioned that I'd post an example. This is that example.

Absolutely gorgeous aesthetically and a lovely portrait Brian.
If this is from memory the kickstart emulsion, I'd say they/you are onto a winner .
Possibly impossible to capture this without impossible

Thanks Julian. This isn't their first generation film, but it's not their latest either. Gorgeous stuff though. Thanks again, Julian.

Stunningly good, Brian and that Spectra has really nailed the focus. Certainly better than the SX70 does. Is this the Generation 1 film or the newer 2.0?
Thanks Pete. Its not Gen 2,...and I think it's not Gen 1. I think its somewhere in between. Could be wrong. I took the usual precautions in any case,...with the frog tongue to keep light minimized upon ejection and the dry age kit to prevent internal moisture from destroying the image over the first few weeks. I think the latest emulsions from Impossible have overcome these problems to some degree.

Lovely portrait, lovely lady and for the rest of conversations; I thought I was getting older, but my goodness. Better run out and get myself a polaroid film for my camera too and maybe I'll be accepted in that seemingly old stuff club:D No offence intended! But you had to convert it to black and white right, after having scanned it?

No Ivar. It's a black and white film. And thank you for the comments.
