Critique Welcomed Kew Gardens - The film boots developed :/

So believe it or not, these were taken on an ISO 100 Colour Implosion film... But these black and white photos are what I got back from Boots. Not sure what happened to produce them in such a way but I got my money back and won't be returning there. Fairly happy with the images, but obviously not what I was expecting especially with the high grain in black and white rather than colour.

Thanks @Pete Askew definitely excited to do some prints. Yeah some have turned out well, just a lot of the compositions were chosen for the vibrancy of the colours. The picture of the arches of the green house would have been great with the greens in the leaves and the reds and oranges of the rust!

I actually really like them, but understand your need for control. I've completely given up on Boots.

Kew is one of my favourite places, but it's far from Edinburgh and expensive to get in. Thankfully Edinburgh has something almost as good, the Royal Edinburgh Botanic Garden, and I've been known to present one or two shots from there. And it's free to get in. :)

Thank you @Rob MacKillop. I think my favourite is the waterfall one, would like a print of it. I almost went to Edinburgh at weekend as I was up north but we decided it was too far and to drive home in the same day. It's on our list of places to visit though!!

@Brian Moore there is definitely colour there! I need to put them on my negative scanner but I'm slowly getting through all my other films from the last two weeks!

There is quite a nice quality to some of these. But yep I'd give Boots the boot . The one I particularly like is No.9 a cracking image that I can see in my minds eye as a print

The waterfall? That's my favourite and definitely want to have that on my wall! Thank you!
