Thanks for looking.

Haha, thanks guys. It was in the very busy Southbank Christmas market, I was gunning for the dog, and that little girl came into the frame just when i was about to click the shutter, what luck! :)

great shot of a nice moment, if i was into street photography i could have got a cracker yesterday. Tattooed skater, hands arms neck the lot, kneeling down putting a clasp into his baby daughters hair :D

Thanks Davie, it sounds like it would have been a cracking shot :).

We probably shouldn't restrict ourselves to shoot only our selected genres. I reckon if the moment of a possible good shot arises, just go for it!

i know what you mean, it's not so much that I don't do street photography it's more that I don't have a camera with me in those positions (apart from my iPhone of course).

True, it's useful to have a camera with you in those situations, that's why I am glad to have my X100 with me at all times. Having said that, my wife Priya does take her iPhone (now RX100) with her always and has got some surprisingly good results from the tiny little camera.

Awwwwwww ... both lost in affection in one another.

(however kind we are as adults we will never have that pure affection of our childhood towards doggies ).

Nicely spotted Jim - I like the way the girl and the dog are down between the 'adults'
