Kitchen Life...

Ha!
This is great Rense, however, I would take Brians advice on that matter! :D:D
or if your feeling very peckish......... I here they're full of protein :/ :D:D:D:D

Great Macro's, but I'd say get yourself a ladybird, they quite like the occasional Aphid;).

#3 and #4 the lighting is really great - you get that translucent look to the aphids and that wonderful green colour

Nicely done - the DOF is perfect as well

Im with Chris, I love the lighting on those!
Number 3 seems to work quite well inside down as it goes...
I for a long time had 2 50mm lenses reversed on to each other for a macro lens... Got some great shots out of it as a set up!

I assume that's something similar to what your talking about here
Vivitar 55/2.8 1:1 macro, Kenko auto extension tube, SMC-Takumar 35/3.5 reversed

I keep coming back to these Rense. They have nice elements of context that is so often missing in macro shots. I like the apparent trail of aphids in the first and the way you can also make out the cellular structure of the plant in some of the others. Very nice lighting too.

Thanks Chris!

Yes, it is. I hardly ever use reversed lenses, but probably I will try it more often next summer! Thank you!
