That does seem to be pretty grainy.
Something you can't have in digital, I think.

Here is a digital shot I took yesterday (in color) which I knocked to b&w. This morning I ran it through Nik SilverFX to see what I could get for grain. I think it is pretty grainy and sharp.

I don't know, @Gary R. Smith, maybe you are right. But there's something really unique about those film shots.

Like a magazine shot Gary, great to see the F2 resplendent in monochrome.

It’s got grain alright with the sharp, I do feel the digital grain isn’t quite the same as film- it seems to be less textural.

I’ll say that for pyro, it definitely doesn’t hide the grain- not sure if my home scan using a rough and ready DSLR rig has an effect here.
