Well today was my mothers 80th Birthday so my brother and I took her out for a meal something she doesn't do, medical history so this was a big thang for her.

We had arranged for his kids and grand kids to be there, and for mine, Mother didn't know this was happening, another special thang was that this was the first time ever that all of the Kids and Grand kids had been together in one space at one time. A lovely day and mother was; well shall I say she had fantastic and memorable birthday.

Happy Birthday Great Granny :D

Now having committed to this mad venture I decided today that I wasn't going to post a shot just because I needed to post something, I wanted to make this a bit more personal and only post a shot that means something to me, so I'm hoping I can continue on that premise at the risk of boring the pants off you, well those that aren't commando that is:D and I'm betting there will be at least one:D

The story behind #2

I play golf and today I was on the 8th at Gaudet Luce in Droitwich. Tee shot took the driver out, there is a ditch running across the fairway at around 200 meters, my shot, nice and straight but landed bang in the middle of a very small tree, no bounce just straight in the middle and ended up sat in amongst some of the finest twigs of branches that would normally not even support the weight of a ball placed there let alone travelling at speed over 200 meters :D well land there it did.

Taken with my Nokia X6 so quality is not best

The odd thing is I did exactly the same ruddy thing on the next hole :D:D:D must to he amusement of my fellow players :D:D just a different tree, maybe I should take up another sport :D:D:D

I think maybe you should Kev :D:D
Good to see your sticking to the project, I know it's only been two days though. lol

Disorganised..........

They say you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their book shelf, well my book shelf doesn't tell any one much about me I don't think, this is in fact only a part of it but I felt a need to introduce it as I am currently undergoing a refit in my domestic surroundings :D finally got around to deciding to have a big sort out and after some soul searching I have made a start :D:D:D

The corner of self indulgence and some of the toys, nowhere nearly enough but I do live in a shed :D:D:D:D

After some time today sorting through the dust of last year, I have finally reached a point where I can sit relatively comfortably and work.

Having progressed from Laptop to Desktop and finally installed much of my needs and re-organised my corner, and it is a corner, I thought it was about time the toys came down to be seen, it might just remind me to get out there and do some:D:D:D:D

where did you go for your meal ? :)
