I think he thought he was King Farouk or something, Chris, and he was jealously guarding that table full of sh*te like it was a golden horde. He refused to bargain with folks in an honest way; I could see he was calling out prices based on an inflated assessment of his table full of sh*te and his own self-worth as a judge of what he might con people out of.
I have another fotie I'll post of a woman who may have been his wife--The Queen of Sheba--who was equally off-putting and indeed quite disgusting. I didn't interact with King F or his wife, Queen S--I merely observed them and drew my own conclusions like a good documentarian should.
I thought at the end you were going to tell us that after all of that you saw that they were selling a vintage camera and you just had to buy it from them at all costs. Or is it that you tried but they wanted too much and you're still not over it.
No Paul. Had he anything of value--such as a vintage camera--I'm sure my respect for him would have risen immeasurably. Nothing vintage on King Farouk's pile of junk.
.......Purely by way of an observation. I would say that his potential clientelle do not quite share your assessment of "King F's" wares ............... You know what they say "One man's sh**te is another man's treasure"........... or was it "One man's sh**te is just a pile of sh**te ????" .....
