Laurie Parker's Project 366

that young girls is pretty brave, i would have been cacking myself getting so close. Great capture & entry for day 7 Laurie

very nice, i am noting a theme of booze to your 366 slowly occurring Laurie, and you tell me you don't even drink..........!! Lovely idea regardless, and refection & bright colours help to

cheers darren i dont drink thats why I got so much booze in the house I buy it xmas time and its still here following year lolol

That's very good!
Did you use some sort of black card to controll the backround?
My wife drinks that stuff..... Uuurrgghh!!! :D:D

Cheers ,I used a black muslin backdrop with a piece of glass placed over it for reflections

and I agree its gross lol

Works brilliantly I say. :)
Might have just have me a few ideas....

ooh nice one looks forward to seeing your ideas, I have thought of another to do like this similar style just need to think now how to pull it off lol

Very Nice Laurie, smoke is fun, a liuttle unpredictable but always interesting :)

Like the colours here too :)

cheers Kev yeah I love messing about with smoke and flashgun, took a load of these just now and majority have some fab patterns in them

Very nice Laurie, one of these days I'll have a go at that...

cheers Guys, I got smoked out of bedroom cos of these pete lol, And deffo have a go Glen it really is fun some fab patterns can be found in that smoke

like the colours your getting out of that Laurie.

Out of curiosity what do you use to produce yer smoke? had thought about trying this at some stage myself along with water once get a speedlight

cheers Both, Allan I use incense sticks for the smoke, tried all different way but find incense the best to use also you get a nice smell about the place lol, every now and then Ifan the smoke with a sheet of a4 card to get the smoke to move around more, speedlight set up to the right of the smoke, and a nice darkened room

the black background I use is a muslin sheet about ten foot by 8 foot its attached to backdrop stands, but any non reflective black material will do, just make sure no stray light hits the backdrop, It can also be done with a bright set of led's if you have any of those use them to light up the smoke, then the flash isnt needed but the better results are with flash, worth a go though until you get a speedlight
