Lightroom skin re-touching ...

What do folks think of this? ... the clone and heal in LR5 seems to be a step up from LR4 and the "soften skin" brush is a wonderful thing ... too much?



this is a corporate headshot so its just a case of minor re-touching rather than full blown ...

Cheers Ralph ... I dont do much of this sort of thing, in fact its pretty much new ground ... I know the temptation with new things is to go ott so im pleased if it doesnt look like that is the case. Staring at these things you loose track of objectivity ... ...

I know just what you mean. But in this case I think you got it right. The processing looks good and she should be pleased.

Think you got it just right Hamish. It's always difficult to take pics of people...especially ladies...for me. I believe she may just be happy with this one.

Looks OK to me Hamish and it was a good idea to tame the reflections I think. Subtle but effective.

not bad at all. i wouldn't have considered doing this in lightroom, but the results look good. sounds like it might be easier than doing similar touch ups in photoshop.
