Good point Matthew - do you find you use a lot of fill flash on sunny days?

always, shadows across face are un-acceptable! obviously you can only do what you kit allows. So if you weere posing one of them up you'd have the sunlight behind them so there are no shadows and no squinting!

Used to use fill-flash a lot shooting the brolly-ladies at motorpsorts events, for the same reason.

You can just see my signature red shirt, and the flash popping, in the reflections in the shades
