As I just mentioned on PussBuik, you have broken the law here: no parking in a Passing Place! We have the evidence! You might be forgiven, seeing as it's such a nice shot

Nah I like the car, I had a few like this with the car in the photo, it was my only friend I could rely on at the time :D

Smashing Brian, Loved those single lanes, without hedges, also when the occasional, other vehicle approaches which can be rare up in the north, getting both cars to arrive so one can swerve into the passing place without the need to stop, was fun.

Fabulous shot Brian. Bleak and beautiful. Shame someone left their car there though! ;)
Not only that, Pete, but they are illegally parked! (Philistines!;))

Thanks for the comments, Pete. It is certainly bleak and beautiful there. The camera can't do it justice.

Thanks a lot, Julian. I always find it quite remarkable how civilized drivers are on the Bealach. (They're civil in Los Angeles too, mind. As in "civil war.")

beautiful Brian, you say passing place like its a bad thing lol those passing places are my workshop i'll have you know lol

Thank you, Davie. (I put "Passing Place" inside quotation marks for the benefit of our American cousins; to my knowledge its not an expression used here in these Unites States of America.)

Those Passing Place workshops of yours are serving you very well indeed! :) (But if you park in one don't tell Rob, he's pretty sensitive about illegal parking. ;))
