Mamiya C330s: Big Stone and a Cyclist

I've been looking through my old medium format shots, and found this one - not sure if I uploaded it here before. The cyclist looks like Brian Cox, the BBC's space guy. I love the big chunks of stone Edinburgh was made with. Not sure of the film...

Don't recall seeing this before, Rob. It a good shot. I like the contrasts on the stonework, alternating light and black.

I know I don't comment on many posts but there is something I really like about this shot.
I'm not sure if it's the contrast from the light and dark of the shot or the way he seems to be looking back towards the dark to see if he's still being followed? Like the good guys in the old films always stopped to look behind...

Quite a dull reason. He was about to launch himself into the road, and looked for cars behind him... I wish there was a more interesting reason!

A very imposing entrance to the building, and I love the curve of the tenement on the right...

Cheers, Dougie. I'd walked round the place a few times, and that curve of the tenements is what stopped me in my tracks. The cyclist was a surprise bonus.
