Man Takes 100,000 Photos In 2013. Wife Says None Of Them Are Any Good.

Funny (the posed photo is hilarious) but also somewhat sad. I do sympathize with his wife somewhat - I wouldn't want my home covered in street photos of broken down homeless folks either. in fact, I have rather strong feelings about a lot of those types of photos, seeing them as more exploitive than artistic unless you are a PJ trying to make a point for a published story or exhibition.

Yeah, I agree! I've not see any of his photos, despite having seen this article a good few times now ... But it does sound as though he has an "interesting" taste in subject matter!

I have taken photos of homeless people, in fact I took one just the other day in the metro in Paris, but really only to be seen in the context of the other shots from my day trip! I certainly wouldn't go out with it in mind to shoot the homeless, and there is no way in the world any photos like that would ever make it into a frame on the walls of my house!

I agree too, a collection of street photos could make an interesting website or a good exhibition, but not on the walls at home.

Wife's choice.
Please match the drapes.
