East corner.
Built in 1939-40 I believe. May Company was once a department store chain here in the Los Angeles area. The company went under in the '80s I think. This building, an example of "Streamline Moderne" architecture (thank you Darren Bradley for acquainting me with this style) is more famous for the design of its west corner, which stands at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue. However, on the day I was there I was unable to get a picture of the famous part.
Anyway, the building is now owned by LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) but will be (or perhaps has been) purchased by the Motion Picture Academy, who plan to use it as a museum.
Mamiya 7 and expired Kodak Portra 800 film.
