Just for Show Meg's First Selfie

Meg (daughter #2) is 17 now. When she was a little tike I bought her a Polaroid i-Zone camera. The i-Zone was an instant film camera that gave you an image of about 1 inch long. Anyway, a while back I discovered a small cache of images from that camera. This one was taken by Meg herself. She never mentioned that she took it. I don't know if she remembers now that she did. (I'll post it on Facebook and then she'll remark!)

I delight in the delight in her face as she took her ain fotie. (The light leak was in that camera from day one.)

It is indeed a mischievous smile, Pete. In the cutest way possible. The person on the left is my brother's wife. One of the things that touches me about this image is that while the world around her is happening, Meg is in her own wee world at the moment she snapped this picture. The smile tells me that.
