Missing forum posts ...

We have been moved to a different server, in the process o this happening it seems a few forum posts went AWOL ...
Sorry about that!
If it happens again, let me know and I'll chase up the chaps who are doing the work!

I was puzzled by that. All the posts I did last night are missing. Including one very long one! I guess they don't have a backup do they?

It will be all in an old version of the database ... No way to merge them really...
I asked them to let me know when it was happening, but as it happened over night I guess it was done on auto ...
I rescued a post by clickin back in the browser a load of times ...

Sorry about that Pete, if I'd known I was going to switch off te forum for a few hours ... I might ring them today!

We are getting a virtual private server soon, that will have the same effect, but when it does I'm going to switch it off first ... It should all run a lot faster when we do ... ...
In fact it seems a lot faster today??
