Nice blue sky. I like the second image with the road (less traveled?) leading off into the distance.
I am guessing that that area gets a constant wind (left to right) and caused the tree to grow at the angle.

Thank you John. Yes, the winds generally blow from the west (left in this pic). The path runs through a golf course, altitude of around 500 feet at that point.
