Mount Hahnen is a mountain to the east of Engelberg, Switzerland (overlooking Engelberg). It has an elevation of 2,606 meters (8,550feet).

Thank you Pete and Beth for your comments. The weather was starting to turn for the worse. We could hear distant thunder and see darker clouds heading our way. So we beat a hasty retreat back to the cable car station.
Beth, sorry no elevator or cable car service to the top. I would have liked to get to the top as well, but I would have needed a couple of things I don't have - mountain climbing equipment and mountain climbing skill (and better weather). I have an aversion to falling off mountains.

Here is another POV with a couple of para-gliders "cruising" about the mount top. I could only shoot this mountain in the afternoon, and usually it was covered by clouds.

Beth, you are right. Those para-gliders are riding a natural elevator (one with no buttons).
